SUST Chhatra League President Arrested
Khalilur Rahman, the President of the Chhatra League at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), has been arrested by a team from RAB-9. Khalilur Rahman hails from Shibpur village, Kendua Police Station, Netrokona district, and is the son of Abdul Awal.
The arrest was confirmed on Sunday, September 29, by Assistant Superintendent of Police Mashihur Rahman Sohel of RAB-9.
According to the statement, Khalilur Rahman was arrested on Saturday, September 28, in the afternoon based on intelligence reports. He was apprehended from Bhaluka in Mymensingh district. Khalilur Rahman is facing charges related to a sabotage case filed at Kotwali Police Station in Sylhet. Efforts are ongoing to arrest other accused individuals connected to the case, with continued intelligence and operational activities. Khalilur Rahman has been handed over to Kotwali Police Station for further legal proceedings.
